2022 Pardini Slovakia online league: final results

The second edition of Pardini Slovakia Online League was completed on April 2nd, 2022. Organized by our importer PARDINI Slovakia and sponsored by Pardini Armi, is open to air rifle and air pistol events.

The initiative was conceived by Peter Mlynarčík in the difficult months of the 2020 lockdown, when it was impossible for athletes to compete in presence, and includes an initial online phase, hence the name of the event, followed by a live final which took place in Martin, in northern Slovakia.

In this edition 195 athletes from 11 countries competed, including Italy, in AP40, AP60, AR40 and AR60 events; a number up from 155 performances from six countries in the 2020-2021 edition. The 30 best shooters of each event had access to the final phase, where they competed in mixed teams (pistol and rifle) in a series of preliminary rounds that led to the ranking. 110 shooters from six different nations took part in the final and competed according to the new ISSF regulations.

Winners of 2022 edition were the Olympian Jan Fabo (with K12 pistol) and Daniela Demjen Peskova, both Slovaks, who prevailed on Ondrej Holko and Artur Hadas. The winners were awarded a Pardini GPR1 rifle and a Pardini K12 pistol.

The Ukrainian shooters could not participate in the competition but Slovak Patrik Jany, European air rifle champion and finalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, attended.

The mixed formula, with teams made up of a pistol and a rifle shooter, proved to be very popular among the participants and will be replicated also in the next edition. More information on the Online league website.
