The Women’s Pistol competition brought three more medals to the Pardini Olympic list of medals, which now stands at 35. The final held today – 3 August 2024 – at the Chateauroux Shooting Center immediately promised to be a great success for our company: all eight finalists, in fact, shot with the Pardini SP pistol!
The final series saw the Korean shooter Jiin Yang prevail over the French Camille Jedrzejewski and the Hungarian Veronika Major, who had finished the qualification competition yesterday in first place, equalling the Olympic record for the event (592-27x). Yang (586) and Jedrzejewski (585) had entered the final in sixth and seventh place respectively.
Yang immediately took the lead and, behind her, the balance was broken only in the elimination series. In the end, Jedrzejewski managed to come back, leading the Korean shooter to the shoot-off, which she won authoritatively.
